The Calais Hospital Auxiliary Book Fair is being held on Thursday, April 25th 11 am to 4 pm and Friday 8 am - 2 pm in the classroom.

Dot Dwelley is now at home and Alice Jean Robinson is gradually out and about.

After the snowstorm of yesterday we have had some signs of spring with a white and brown rabbit coming out of the woods and eating some green grass. On the way to church a crane flew across from a brook. Is this snow the “poor man’s fertilizer”? It went almost as fast as it came.

The weather has been cold and damp for a week, but today the sun is shining with the promise of better weather to come.  I moved some leaves so my crocuses would have an easier time pushing through the ground.  When they did show their blooms, they saw the snow and said, “No thanks.”
