This community has some amazing young adults and children that go beyond the scope of learning and raising awareness at times that parents can be so thankful and grateful and proud of the job they have done. A huge congratulations this week goes out to Lacey Potter for winning the new bicycle thru the Mason’s Lodge in Baileyville.

I have been watching some birds building a nest under the eves of the house. There are three empty bird boxes they are not paying any attention to this year except to peer into once in a while. They are clean so I don’t know what the problem is. There is also an empty nest in the lilac bush outside the window that no one is claiming this year.

The last few days of last week were wet and foggy but not much rain fell. There is still a fire danger.
Thanks to John and Daniel Cashore for entertaining at the Mother’s Day Tea at the Robbinston Historical Society last Saturday. Everyone enjoyed the music.
