Husson University Announces Spring 2017 President's List

 

Husson University is pleased to share their Spring 2017 President's List. Students who earn President's List honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours during the semester and earn a grade point average of between 3.80 to 4.0 during the period.

UMPI Dean's List for Spring 2017

 

Two hundred and ninety-one students at the University of Maine at Presque Isle have been named to the Dean's List for the spring semester, according to Dr. Ray Rice, UMPI President and Provost.

Named to the honors list were Elisha Lori Farley, Brookton, Allison Elizabeth McEwen, Danforth, and Brooke Melissa Smith, Calais.

Memories of Sammy Saunders Reveal 1920s Life in Calais

Photo: Sammy Saunders (shown in the upper right corner) attended the Union Street school on "Mud Lane" in the 1920s before serving as postmaster for Calais for many years. The St. Croix Historical Society was able to share some of his memories from a recording during a presentation given on June 6th.
