Baileyville – Lois Elaine Stimson, 84, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Calais Regional Hospital.  Lois was born in Kingfield on June 28, 1930, daughter of the late Ralph and Margaret (Hannington) Scott.  She attended school in Woodland and in the 1960’s became a CNA.

Princeton – John Alden Papke, 47, passed away at his home on October 10, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer.  John was born in Norway, Maine on August 14, 1967 to Robert and Ann (Fuller) Papke.  He was a graduate of Calais High School and served his country in the United States Army.

PAUL R. LISTER

Calais – Paul Raymond Lister, 94, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Calais Regional Hospital.  Paul was born in St. Stephen, NB, on August 9, 1920, son of the late Gregory and Ethel (Love) Lister.  He worked for Haley’s Lumber until enlisting in the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1941 to serve in WWII.
