Blue Devil Alumni Classic for a Good Cause

For the last seven years during International Festival The Blue Devil Fund has held their annual Alumni Basketball Classic. The Game is actually two games held in one evening that makes for fun for the whole family. 

The games are played with the Lady Devils playing at 5:30 and the Blue Devils playing at 6:30. The games will feature some of the big names in Blue Devils’ basketball history with many from state championship teams. The alumni games is open to all former Blue Devils and Lady Blue Devils basketball players. 

The games are sponsored by the Blue Devil fund which is a non-profit organization that is geared to making a difference here at home. The money that the games raise goes back into local charities as well as funding scholarships for basketball players who want to further their academic and the sporting goals. 

There’s more than just the fun of watching the basketball games to be had at the Alumni Classic. All night during the games there will be raffles and giveaways. And what basketball game would be complete without concessions, which will be sold throughout the night. 

Some of the spectacular things being raffled off are Indiana Pacers memorabilia and gift bags full of other things. The money from the raffles, as well as the concessions, and the game admission all go to the Blue Devil fund and supporting local charities. 

Admission for the game is $4 for adults and $2 for students. The first game, the Lady Blue Devils, will start with the Blue Devils following at 6:30 after a brief intermission. For more information on the game you can go to the Blue Devil Fund Facebook page.
