Woodland High School Graduation

As parents and friends gathered on the floor of Woodland High School Auditorium, 32 seniors impatiently waited for Patsy Hansen to play the familiar cords of “Pomp and Circumstance.”

Tannis Hawkins, class president, led her class to the stage and the Pledge of Alliance. Supt. William Bruan thanked the families for entrusting their students to the care of the staff at the high school.

Graduating speakers were Sophia McDonald,Salutatorian; Tannis Hawkins, First Honor Essayist; and Gabriel Hunnewell, Valedictorian.

 

Fifty-nine scholarships were presented, amounting to more than $30,000 to deserving seniors.
