Notes From The St. Croix Country Club

As Mother Nature continues to "shine" on our course, we still have many things going on at the Croix.

The FLOG 9 hole tourney is scheduled for Sunday, September 25th with a 10 AM shotgun start. Those who have never played in this before, you have missed out on a really fun time! The course is set up to be played backwards, which creates many challenges!

The Closing Dinner and Awards Banquet are on the schedule for Saturday, October 1st. Happy hour at 6 PM with dinner to follow at 7.

Also, we have a new Par 3 tourney in a Four Person Scramble format scheduled for Saturday, October 15th. This new event will shotgun start at 1 PM with a spaghetti dinner to follow the scramble, finishing the evening with the annual club auction.  We are currently collecting new items for the auction, which is shaping up to be another successful event. Last year we raised over $2,200.00! We would love to have the membership participate in all three events.

The St. Croix Country Club is proud to announce that the Banquet Hall will remain open through January 1st 2017! Please call the office to book your Christmas or birthday parties, wedding receptions, meetings, etc. Remember, you don't have to be a member or golfer to rent the facility with the best atmosphere and view in the area!

Finally, congratulations to Fran Lacoute for winning the 2016 Madeline Campbell Cup. The D. Ellis Cup is still up for grabs between Chris Gardner and Kevin Lane making it to the finals.

As usual, thanks for your continued support of the St. Croix C.C., Mike.
