It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley Winslow of Las Vegas, Nevada on Monday, May 2, 2016, at Mt. View Hospital.

She was born on November 21, 1931 in Calais, the first child to Lewis and Myrtle Clark, and was preceded in death by her parents, sister Jean Hume, son-in-law Mike Decker, along with the love of her life and husband of 65 years Harle Winslow.

She married Harle on October 8, 1950 and settled in Las Vegas where she retired after 27 years as a food service manager for Clark County School District.  She was a chartered member of her church and was involved in many charities, such as feeding and knitting for the homeless.  She was a prize winning quilter and master at sewing.  She was known as "Mom" to many as she had a habit of caring for all.  Her love for her family was her strength.  Her smile and humor were contagious and will be greatly missed.

Shirley is survived by her two brothers Robert (Rita) Clark and Richard (Ruth) Clark, son Gary (Mary), daughters Debra (Tim) Fry and Vikki Decker, six grandchildren and their spouses, along with 13 great-grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday, May 14th at 10:00 a.m. at Mountain View Presbyterian Church, 8601 Del Webb Blvd., Las Vegas, NV, 89173-0546.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to Mountain View Presbyterian Church.
