MARY (SEAMANS) PERRY

Woodland, Maine - Leesburg, FL - Mary Elizabeth Perry, 90, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 21, 2014. She was born September 7, 1924 to Gerald and Elva (Cousins) Seamans. She was one of nine children having seven sisters and one brother.

Mary was predeceased by two daughters Jacqueline and Linda Perry Newell. She is survived by four children, oldest son Mel of Winchester, VA; daughter Betty of Leesburg, FL, whom she lived with and twin sons Gerald and Gerard both of Baileyville. She is also survived by several grandchildren and their spouses and great-grandchildren.

She was also survived by many nieces and nephews and two sisters Marlene Lord and Jean Kravis and her husband Bill of Washington.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her, especially her many friends at the local Bingo Halls.

Mary spent many years as a member of the Womens’ Auxiliary American Legion W.T. Wren Post #23 of Woodland serving as President and County Commander.

 

Due to timing and season of her passing, the family has decided to postpone services for her until early summer of 2015.
