Rep. Cassidy Again a Clean Elections Candidate

Rep. Katheirine Cassidy, D-Lubec, is a Maine Clean Elections candidate this spring as she runs for re-election to the Maine House of Representatives.

"Clean Elections" status means Cassidy is gathering contributions of $5 from more than 60 voters in District 139 before Monday, April 21. Those contributions will help her qualify for public funding from the State to pay for the candidate's campaign.

Contributions may come from any registered voter, regardless of party or unenrolled status, living in Cutler, East Machias, Eastport, Lubec, Machias, Machiasport, Roque Bluffs, Trescott or Whiting.

"This is my fourth campaign for election, and my fourth time using the Maine Clean Elections program," Cassidy said. "Once more, I am abiding by the Maine Code of Fair Campaign Practices. I appreciate the constituents who support me with Clean Elections contributions as I run to represent them again in Augusta."

Cassidy prefers that voters make contributions via the online qualifying contributions website at www.maine.gov/cleanelections. For more information, please contact Cassidy before April 21 at 733-4648 (home) or 215-4952 (mobile).
