We had a very busy Veterans Day week. Wednesday the WCCC hosted a Veterans Day luncheon. I would like to thank President Cassidy, Will O’Shea and the culinary arts class for their outstanding meal. I was presented a certificate from the State of Maine 125th Legislature for military service and providing service to our veterans and their families. I want to thank Representative Joyce Maker for her input and support for our Veterans. Friday the Calais High School AP class had their annual Veterans Day Ceremony. As always they displayed a very professional and an emotional ceremony. Friday the Baileyville High School had their Veterans Day Ceremony. Members of the local VFW and I carried our Colors.

Thanks to Chief Bob Fitzsimmons, student’s and staff  for the honor to represent our veterans. Monday the 11th, I carried our National Colors in the St. Stephen Veterans’ Day Ceremony. They had a very Professional Ceremony! I want to thank the Canadian Legion for giving me the honor to represent our country. I also carried the Colors at the St. Anne’s Church Ceremony, Monday evening. Thanks to Chaplain Dave Sivret and his members of the VFW for having the honor to represent the Calais American Legion.
