Handwriting is a very important skill. If your handwriting is neat and clear, others can understand what you have written. It is so important that January 31st is National Handwriting Day!

The Calais High School Band is hosting a McTeachers night at McDonald’s on Monday February 4th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The following teachers are hoping to serve you: Mrs Brennan, Mr. Moody, Mrs. Ellis and Mr. Clark. The band appreciates and is thankful for McDonald’s support and all the support the community has given them.

A dear friend Eldon Libby will be celebrating his 80th birthday on Wednesday, February 6th. Wonder if Miriam will make him cake?

Sister Judy was down from Moncton visiting her sister Par Yardley/

The hospital auxiliary will meet on Monday, February 4th at 5:30 p.m. with a pot luck, exchange of Valentines and Bingo following the meeting,  so bring your loose change, a tasty dish and a neat Valentine.

Get well wishes to Millie Burgess.

Mary Wallace is back at home, hope all is going well mary.
