The Calais Free Library loves the holidays. Not only do we have wonderful seasonal titles to hit the spot, but we have some fun prizes for our patrons who stop in to visit us. 

Each time a patron visits the library — from now until Friday, Dec. 14 — he or she can fill in a ticket to try to win a lovely Calais Free Library first edition 1997 Christmas ornament. We will draw 10 names a week for three weeks, so we anticipate lots of winners. These lovely ornaments come in their own special box and make lovely decorations or gifts.

Each time a patron visits the library between the above dates, he or she can enter to win an ornament. For a story to transport your family into the holiday spirit, here are a few ideas that are available at the Calais Free Library or through interlibrary loan:
